Natalie Comer RYT-500
Natalie fell into yoga in 2012, while hiking in Squaw Valley, CA she was immediately drawn to the Prana- the life force positive energy she felt as she walked through the crowd of beautiful yogis at the Wanderlust Yoga Festival.
For Natalie, a single Mom to 3 teenage boys, a daily yoga practice was vital to keeping anxiety and stress under control. “Yoga was my life preserver on days when I was barely feeling I could stay afloat. Knowing that once I got to my mat, I felt safe and everything would be ok”. Natalie also discovered yoga is truly the fountain of youth. Natalie loves that yoga challenges her emotionally, physically and mentally. With every class she learns something new, feels stronger, more empowered and more calm.
Natalie teaches from her heart to yours. Come to class knowing you will have a fun and energetic yoga experience. You will be challenged, but also relaxed, rejuvenated and nurtured. You will be given the energetic space to enjoy the perfect yoga flow as you tap into “your inner intuitive teacher”
Natalie completed her Yoga 200 Hour training under the tutelage of Natalie Perez- Hayden in 2016. In 2020, she completed her 20 Hour Restorative Training with Allie Geer in Colorado. Natalie recently completed her 300 Hour Advanced Yoga Training under the tutelage of Rolf Gates in September of 2024.
Natalie’s passion is tapping into our parasympathetic nervous system. This is where healing and transformation happens. Always expect calming poses at the end of class!
I am a daily student of this beautiful ancient practice. Sharing the amazing benefits of yoga with my students is the greatest gift!
In my free time, I enjoy hiking, cooking healthy vegetarian food, fun rides on my Peloton, strength training, reading and exploring life with my husband, Bob and very special moments with my 3 adult sons, Josh, Zach and Dylan.
Haley Frischkorn ERYT-200, RYT-500
I love yoga! There. I said it. Like all beautifully complex things, I believe the more I learn, the more I realize how much there still is to know! Yoga is, for me, a process of discovery. Each day I come to my mat, I learn something about myself. But after 20+ years of practice I think the best thing I've learned is to pay attention! Sometimes this means I need to concentrate on my physical practice (as you may hear me say in class-- "this balance pose is just a party trick, the concentration it takes to stay in the pose, that is a life skill!"), but other times, when I'm attentive, I know I need just to
breath, to be still, to listen, to rest. Yoga has taught me this. And, as my favorite poet, Mary Oliver once wrote, "To pay attention, this is our endless and proper work." So each day I get on my mat, I pay attention, and I learn something new. And as a teacher, I get to share this always new and amazing, infinitely unfolding practice with my students-- and be a small part of their journey as well! What's not to
love about that?!
Cheryl Milton ERYT-500
Why I practice:
I began practicing yoga 23 years ago after the birth of our first child. I had just left corporate America and yoga was part of my
husband's 10-step plan to mellow me out. Today, Yoga helps keep me grounded and connected to my body. My Yoga practice has been a critical reason why I can walk without a limp and run and jump on a reconstructed ankle. Plus, I LOVE that I can practice with me when I travel, and I always do.
Why I teach:
When I began teaching yoga it was just another fitness format. After taking Yoga Teacher training, experiencing the benefits, and
seeing yoga improve my quality of life and that of my students - how could I stop teaching! It is amazing to watch new practitioners
grow from doing the poses to embodying the practice. Watching students move, breathe, and learn to connect to their bodies brings
me great joy.
When I’m not at the studio:
In the fall you will find me traveling the North Coast Atlantic Conference (NCAC) in Ohio to watch our son play college football. In the
Spring and Summer, you’ll find me working in the garden, hanging in the backyard with my family, and enjoying time in the sun.
Winter...well, I hibernate like so many people with a high pitta dosha.
Jessica Pearson ERYT-500
Meet Jess! Jess discovered yoga with Andrea Ballard almost a decade ago! On a path to heal her own trauma Jessica took one class and knew yoga was her calling! A year later she took her 200 hour she went on to be become an E-RYT 500. Her expertise includes Yoga Nidra, Ayurveda, & Restorative yoga. Jess is into so many things- when she isn’t on her mat, Jess is a writer and published her first book in 2023. She loves spending her time visiting farmers markets, taking in all the live music & and soaking up the sunshine! Not to mention loving on her two pooches, traveling, and enjoying her family. For Jess, yoga is about creating space for her students within a community while teaching them to create space within themselves. Jess knows we are our worst critic and the most valuable lesson we can ever learn is that we are enough. Just as we are.
